Keen marketers know that producing a cohesive brand image through all forms of communication is key to maintaining a good brand perception. That means ensuring continuity is a priority between mediums such as photography and video.
Kahala Nui, Hawaii’s premiere senior living community, came to us to overhaul the organization’s entire photo and video libraries. We were able to find cost-efficiencies and provide consistency in image quality across the two mediums. As is often times the situation, the asset refresh request was motivated by efforts to update the organization’s website. Our parent company, Jon Duarte Design Group (JDDG), was involved in the website refresh. JDDG handled the graphic redesign and programming. (See Kahala Nui’s website).
Capturing Understated Elegance
The new photography library consists of key “hero” imagery, which is used for banner images on the website, leading advertising campaigns and other forms of high-touch communication. The library also includes “supplemental” imagery, used as support images throughout the site. There were four areas of focus: resident lifestyle imagery, resident activities, staff interactions, and architectural photography. Check out a few sample images below.

Filming a Taste of the Sweet Life
Another component to the asset overhaul was producing lifestyle video clips for the website’s homepage. The clips bring the community to life and give viewers a taste of living at Kahala Nui.
